Half way through 2020 everyone was really starting to miss conventions and competitions. So when Crunchyroll announced an online cosplay competition I jumped at the chance to join!
As always I built this costume from the inside out, starting with the petticoat. My petti was built from pink organza and is SO SO SO fluffy. It’s quite a challenge to travel with. Since this was a competition build I wanted to add some unique details and techniques. The most noticeable is the 100ish felted strawberry that adorn this outfit! I needed berries that would be light weight and soft enough to sit on, felting ended up being the perfect technique! The bodice is my standard princess seam bodice with steal boning and a separating zipper down the front.
My favorite part of this costume is the crazy hip spring! I always forget how fluffy the petti is until I see it poofed out by the bodice! My wig is a Vivian in Peony Pink from Arda Wigs.

I've been wanting to make my own petticoat for forever and I finally got the perfect opportunity! Building petticoats is quite the task but it can be so worth i! Especially when you need a special length, color, or poofyness factor! ♡
This tutorial is so adjustable! You can adjust the length of the tiers or the number of layers to get even more poof! I can't wait tot use this petticoat in a bunch of future cosplays! ♡

Hello everyone~!
Today I'm going to show you how I made the 47 Strawberries on my Wedding Ichigo cosplay! ♡
I made these berries using a method called Needle Felting. Needle felting creates soft shapes from loose wool - this means these berries are squishy, fuzzy, and super light weight. Oh and absolutely adorable too! ♡

I am finally able to share the project that has consumed my past couple of months! ♡
This costume was so much fun to build and even more fun to wear! Generally I'll make my costume then come up with my skit, but this skit came to me as I was falling asleep one night - before I even dreamt about building this dress! While it's not exactly what I pictured I'm still very proud of it! ♡
