Well my friends it’s that time of the year again; Arda Wigs’ quarterly banner contest! If you’re new to the cosplay scene you may not have heard of Arda yet, so who is Arda Wigs? Arda is the leading North American wig producer for Cosplayers, Drag Queens and Theater! They have an incredibly wide range of wig styles and colors as well as specialty makeup projects! Their wigs boast large cap sizes, blended colors for a more natural look and extraordinarily thick wigs. Personally Arda is my go to wig shop! I’ve used their wigs for Mew Ichigo, Ladybug, Pearl, Princess Serenity, and most recently Hanamaru!

Once a quarter Arda Wigs hosts a Banner Contest where cosplayers from around the world may submit a photo of them wearing an Arda wig for a chance to be chosen as their website banner for the next 3 months! The prize is a bit of swag and a gift card to their website, plus being featured as their banner image is a HUGE honor! I’ve submitted photos in the past but it’s been a while since I’ve sent one in that I was truly proud of.

This time I decided to submit this photo of my Water Blue New World Hanamaru costume! I feel so cute in this photo and I think it would look so nice as Arda’s banner! I wore this costume to Kumoricon 2019 and had the chance to shoot with Otattemitta who takes beautiful wide frame images – which are perfect for a banner image! While I didn’t win the grand prize there is still a segment of audience voting and this is where I ask for your help!
